Known to the locals as a great little shop by the waves, SURFCO rents out the boards and gear you need to get in the water, as well as some Japanese surf fashion for souvenirs. SURFCO is positioned within walking distance from Heisaura Bay, which is one of the most famous expanses of beach for surfing in all of southern Chiba, and you'll also have access to a shower upon your return to the shop. If you're feeling adventurous, you can also rent a "sandboard" from SURFCO, and go to the locally popular sand dune for a different kind of shredding.
